it is 3 AM so it is not all that great and i am rusty on my composition BUT tuffnel played his tiny saxophone in the pathfinder session today so i wrote a thing
idraz plays guitar so that is why it is a guitar in the background and not a piano
So, I threw a little comparison thing together.
Ok so I’m looking at these and feeling glad but also disappointed that they’re fake.
Each set is made entirely of existing Hero Factory / Glatorian pieces (I mean come on, Tahu’s wearing Tarix’s mask and did they even try with Pohatu’s weapons?)
Disappointed that someone in the Bionicle community is still winding us up with it, and relieved that these are not the sets we’ll be getting. Thank God.
I could also add that I don’t think these will ALL be the same classic heroes. The green one with a disk launcher for a mouth? Mutation for Lewa? Hmmm. And the blue one looks like Takadox for some reason. Only Tahu and Kopaka seem to be the same individuals. These are tremendously blurry too and just prototypes, likely, so I wouldn’t worry too much.
Clayton Crain ~ “Ghost Rider: the Road to Damnation”
-Written by Garth Ennis, with eye-meltingly awesome art by Clayton Crain. Basically, the story opens when two Angels are discussing a problem that is becoming apparent to their superiors. A demon in Hell is very, very well informed about what’s going on in Heaven. Far TOO well informed, as it were. One of those two Angels has a secret he needs to get buried for good. Quickly. So, he comes up with a great idea: there’s a Moron named Johnny Blaze that sold his soul to the devil. Johnny is in Hell, and he’s not enjoying his time there. He really, really wants out as a matter of fact. So, those two Angels come up with a plan. That Demon that knows too much? Let him deal with a pissed off Spirit of Vengeance. In return, Johnny gets out. Unfortunately, Hell sends an agent of their own (the fat guy in a cowboy hat) and Heaven sends an Archangel named Ruth (Lady with the Shotgun). It therefore becomes a race to get this deed taken care of. All Johnny has to do is ride his bike faster than he ever has, and beat the still-steaming piss out of a Demon that’s really, really got it coming.
Oh, and all of the interior art looks like the cover art.
So, you know, it’s awesome.
So, in the same Order:
- the First Print of # 1 was a wraparound. It has been my computer background for a LONG time.
-Esad Ribic did the 1/20 Variant Cover
-the next cover is actually a “Thank-You” Incentive for Retailers. I have not seen it up for sale often.
-the Director’s Cut of # 1 (Clayton’s art is Computer Generated)
-Issue #s 2-6 are the rest. They’re awesome.
